EBA Northeast

Membership:

1. This division is exclusive to the Elite Bullriders Association Northeast region.

2. There are no age restrictions on the Rising Stars division.

3. Bull riders may only ride in the Rising Stars division for 2 seasons at which after that point they must move up to the open division.

   1. If the year-end Rising Stars Champion has not ridden in that division for 2 seasons they must automatically move up to the open division.

4.  Rising Star Division membership cards are $150.00. If they choose to ride on a permit, they may do so with a permit fee of $20.00 per entry. Membership cards must be purchased prior to the EBA finals. If you ride on a permit and earn over $500.00 at an event, the rodeo secretary will deduct your $150 EBA membership card fees from your earnings less the $20 permit fee paid for that event.

Entry Fees & Call out Procedures:

1.  Entries fees will be $50 for events that are $500-999 added money. $75 for events that are $1,000-3,499. $100 for events that are $3,500-4,999. $150 for events that are $5000 and up. The EBA will deduct $12 from each contestant for all events that are $4,999 and under and $22 for events that are $5,000 and over. The EBA fee is 100% paid back to the contestants at the finals with awards and added money.

2. Notified Turn Outs (NTO) & Non-Notified Turn Outs (NNTO)

   1. Any competing member or permit contestant wishing to make a NOTIFIED TURNOUT must done so by contacting the event secretary or the EBA office by the Wednesday prior to the event performance they are competing in. After the Wednesday prior to the event, will result in contestant having to pay the amount of the entry fee prior to competing in another EBA event.

   2. NON-NOTIFIED TURNOUT (NNTO) – Each contestant will receive one (1) free NNTO per season after the first offense a NNTO will result in contestant having to pay the entry for that event Performance. For a third (3) NNTO offense the contestant will be responsible for the performance’s fees plus a $25 fine. Any contestant having four (4) or more NNTO per season will result in being responsible for the entry fees for the performance plus a $50 fine per performance. Contestants will not be able to compete in an EBA event until all fees are paid.

3. Rodeo Count - Bull riders must compete in three (3) rodeos to be eligible for the Northeast finals.

1. All other bull riding rules and regulations regarding bull riding will follow the section 2 of the rulebook.
